Abysmal. Our Doner Kebabs should not have even been graced with that title. There was no salad, no sauce, nothing. Please see attached the picture of my 'curry sauce and chips' and tell me where on earth the curry sauce is. When we told them that they had missed it out, they turned up with what can only be described as yellow water with absolutely no taste or smell whatsoever at which point the chips were cold anyway. Upon further inspection I realised that the curry sauce had not in fact been missed out but was the reason why my chips had been reduced to potato mush with about as much integrity as Matt Hancock; they had been dowsed in the same yellow water. All in all, this experience cost £16. Please save yourselves the utter humiliation of being tricked into paying such a hefty price for glorified dishwater and stale meat and go elsewhere.

I'm giving it zero stars because I was firstly sent the wrong order and then told my  correct order would be out in 15 mins, which was never sent. I had already paid, so had to go through a Very long chat room experience with just eat, to get a refund. I'm still very hungry

I'll be down to see you tomorrow,  waited for over an hour and no food still. Don't answer your phone. But you've charged me. DONT ORDER FROM HERE PEOPLE

For near 20 years I have had a favourite Indian food place. Tried various restaurants and takeaways always going back to my favourite, nothing compares to it. Tonight was a first time ordering from Chester grill. I am gobsmacked to say that all dishes were even better than the ones at my old time favourite. Chester grill has won me over. My new favourite. My partner and fussy son loved their meals too. Thanks to the team for the most beautiful food and excellent delivery service.

I have just received my order for grilled lamb tikka and rice with salad.  I left notes to use the buzzer on the door and not to use the door knocker as I have a elderly woman who lives next door.  Driver arrived, he used the door knocker very hard, twice.  Also when the food came it was quite cold and also the lamb I ordered had only 5 pieces in, I rang back and Complained that there was only 5 pieces in and that the food was only luke warm.  Yes he rectified the problem by saying he will deliver another lamb tikka,  but my honest opinion is that after all of this hassle and the food not being very warm it has Completely ruined my dining for the night and my opinion of them.  I will not be ordering from them again

Took over an hour to come which wouldn't of been a problem if the food wasn't so foul. Do not order from here spent £15 and had about three mouths full the rest went in the bin.  Ordered a chicken donner kebab with garlic mayo and for some reason it was spicy and had a strange flavour to it , it was also wrapped up in a soggy nann bread instead of a pitta . Also ordered donnar kebab meat which was stone cold and stale looking and curled up and hard which made it unedible. On top of that i ordered cake and a tub of ice cream . Ice cream never came and was substituted with another piece of cake which were both dry as hell and the smallest piddleyest pieces of cake you could imagine , MAYBE SOME ICE CREAM WOULD OF HELPED.  Also ordered some type of chips which were described as masala chips, these were soggy and where basically chips with some over powering curry powder lobbed on and the box shook.  Worst food order ive ever had by far . Be warned go somewhere else .

Ordered chicken and Donna kebab and they sent a chicken tikka. Said they would send the right meal and had me waiting 2 hours before deciding to tell me the meal they sent first was correct which it was not. 1 word dirty puma trackies. Do not order from here

This has happened to me once in about 10 orders.  Last night I ordered food after a long shift at hospital because I had nothing to eat in the fridge. I called them after 1 hour at around 2242 to ask where the order was. Chef told me that the driver was about to leave with my order. I didn't receive the order and it was getting late. So I called them again at around 2351. No answer. Luckily I know another restuarant that always delivers and has better food but not Indian. They were about to close so instead of waiting for Chester Grill's "food delivery" I ordered from Grill Maker and got delivery within 15 mins.  Surprise Surprise Chester Grill's delivery never arrived. If it weren't for my skepticism about their delivery I would have slept hungry despite spending 11 pounds on dinner.  I am going to ask for a refund today when the restaurant opens  and I am never ordering from them again. Taking your money and not delivering food is the worst possible thing that a restaurant can do.

5 stars for Chester Grill! Used to be Blue Chilli and that's the only reason it has been given 1 star reviews. Since the change in management, I have been nothing but fully satisfied with Chester Grill, it is my favourite takeaway in Chester and I would 100% recommend it to anyone. Staff are always very kind, welcoming and friendly every time I go in store and when my food is delivered! Food is always piping hot in store and via delivery, made fresh and within a reasonable time. The milkshakes are the best i have ever tasted as well as the chicken, donner meat and burgers, as I said, Chester Grill is the best takeaway I have ever been to in Chester.

I'm Indian, and I have to say that the food hits the spot for me. More on the authentic side than what you could be used to from a normal curry house, but tasty nonetheless. Will return.
