Swift and friendly service. Decent vegetarian risotto. The skate wing fish come a bit too salty, but the friendly atmosphere and well maintained garden easily make for the best pub around Crowborough.
Just moved to Crowborough and was on the hunt for a local, gastropub. Thankfully I didn't need to look far as this pub is walkable and excellent. Amazing food and service. A nice selection of gins and specials on the menu daily. Can't wait to go back.

Came here on a sunny day looking for a pub garden, and was very impressed. The food is really nice and the garden is wonderful, and very well spaced out during COVID. You wouldn't know it from the front, and it's amazing how there's no road noise either. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.
This place is fantastic! The staff are very friendly, the food is exceptional we had the sticky beef salad and cajun chicken burger and it was unbelievably good, maybe the best we've had for lunch! The vibe is pretty chill and the garden is a lovely area, well pruned and kept. 10/10 would recommend.
