We were guests twice this summer, at the beginning and end of our trip to Scotland. We had a great time, we had a great welcome and the seats for the campers are beautiful and welcoming. Greetings to all your family from your Roman guests.
Lovely little campsite within walking distance of York Centre. Fresh water and elsan emptying facilities are all that they provide but at £15 per night it's well worth a visit
Just discovered this tranquil paradise. Very friendly, very quiet. Not much in the way of facilities but that's made clear on their website. Will definitely be back even if only to see the stunning peacock strutting around
Lovely very quiet cl. Plenty of space. Good walks nearby. Easy access to York both by car and bike. Working farm, lots of animals Inc ducks and chickens wondering around. Cheap 8pounds/ night. What is not to like? Recommended.
Visiting my husband in hospital and live in Lancashire. Friendly welcome, perfectly acceptable, straight onto public footpath to walk dogs. Would definitely go again.
