Consistently rude and unhelpful staff. Worked in customer service for years, so I wasn't bothered the first time it happened, as I know what it's like to have a really bad day and struggle to be polite. But considering they've been like that every other time I've gone in....

If I could give zero stars I would. The counter staff (the guys, not the woman) are INCREDIBLY rude and unhelpful. I have actually never been spoken to as rudely in my life in a shop before. Especially not one run by Royal Mail. I used a marker belonging to one of the male staff in there, he came over and pretty much tried to take it off me half way through writing, I said to him I wasn't finished and he stamped off going 'HAVE IT, JUST HAVE IT' like an insolent child. No wonder this place has a reputation that absolutely stinks, just look at the other reviews. Don't bother, walk a bit further down the street. It's healthy for your body to walk, and healthy for your mind not to have to deal with cretins like this lot.

Every time I have gone into this shop the man on the shop counter has been rude for no reason. This place is best avoided.

Terrible post office. Always a huge que because the staff are incredibly slow and very rude at that. Now I rather walk the extra couple of hundred meters either direction, to Portland road or New Church road. Whilst both of those are busy, the ques never take so long to go down as the staff in both are very efficient. Avoid this post office unless you want the staff grimacing at you when you dare to ask for a proof of posting.

Queues are long, staff seem permanently exasperated. But then, I'm not really sure what else to expect from a Post Office?
