Blanchford is great for trade supplies. They have a large stock of tools and fasteners, plumbing and some electrical supplies. I go there mostly for wood and boards. Always helpful staff and friendly service. They are often really competitive on pricing compared to other big companies. Get an account with them for best prices. Always shop locally if you can.
Staff are really friendly and helpful. There are a few doors, not all of them get you in the building, something I discovered when I went on a quiet afternoon. We all had a smirk at that! ‍nStaff in the yard are helpful also when it comes to loading.

Brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable. I came in looking to replace a “non-standard”floorboard. They were happy to wander around the yard offering possible solutions - makes a change from the “errr, all our floorboards are on aisle 4” and vaguely pointing across the shop you get elsewhere.nnThe shop looked very well stocked and seemed to have every power tool known to man on the back wall.nnWill be the first place it try from now on!
A really good store for home repair and building work . The staff are really good at providing advice and guidance.
