Great place on the edge of Bewdley/Stourport. Large car park. Plenty of space to walk the dog alongside the Severn. Lots of routes to explore. Cross the road and explore Burlish Top and the Rifle range nature reserve. Home to the world famous poppy fields. Of course if you wander to the rifle range you’ll see the Severn Valley Railway in its full majestic glory steaming through the countryside and hear the lions roar from the West Midland Safari Park.
Wonderful outdoor space, good walking routes
Lovely place for a picnic and a walk in the sun relaxing by the water side what more could you ask.
Good location, big car park, but height restrictions on entrance of 2m. The picnic benches all look to have been damaged by what I'll politely describe as oxygen thieves, and car park seemed to attract undesirables towards the evening.
A fantastic place to park for free, with a few benches, in beautiful natural surroundings, on the riverside of the Severn, in Ribbesford. Its a really good base, to begin your journey, with plenty to see, as you have the option of several different routes, starting from here. You can stroll along the Riverside of the Severn, towards either Bewdley or Stourport, or if you cross over the road, you can walk to Ribbesford Chuch and Wood, which is beautiful too.
Great location for starting the circular walk around Bewdley. It is just a car park no toilets etc but parking is free.
Only 3hrs or 24hrs as payment options. 8hrs would off been handy. Due to maintenance works found it confusing for entry/exit. Works safety barriers unsitely, thankfully not a permanent feature.
