Situated in the heart of Thirsk Market Place, the Blacksmiths Arms is a Grade II listed pub built around 1550. It still has many of the original beams and oozes character!
We sell a range of local cask ales

Lovely staff, dog freindly, nice affordable food
Friendly run down locals pub with small dance floor at back. Was rammed at 11ish on Saturday night. 4 jager for £10 was good value but dangerous!
Not called the blacksmiths anymore. Completely different pub! Nice staff and good value food!

Renamed The Mowbray Arms, just undergone a face lift. If they upgrade the outside area and put on some events it could be a good pub. Only a couple of real ales and no sign of any food. Watch this space.
Fabulous. Great choice of ales, excellent outdoor area and live music. Great atmosphere.
