Very very good service. Returned a smartwatch i had bought online and didn't like. The staff were very helpful and dealt with the matter swiftly. I often buy fleeces, jackets and boots for walking from blacks and always find them to be excellent.
I was extremely impressed with the service and expertise of the staff. I was looking for lightweight, wide fitting walking boots. The staff here are always very helpful and polite and will happily give you good and honest advice on any item that you are shopping for. They will tell you the benefits and disadvantages of any product they sell, so in the end it's your decision to choose what's in your budget and what meets your needs. If you need a proper waterproof jacket or trousers, a good pair of hiking boots, outdoor clothes or camping supplies at a competitive price to online retailers, then this is the shop to visit.
Very knowledgeable. And when he didn't know my answer started to look it up. Very helpful and bought a self inflating camping matt. Will shop there again if in the town. Well worth the effort.
Chris and Chris are always helpful and happy to get other sizes in for me to try in the unlikely event that they don't have what I need. I have long arms so not every jacket or top fits as well as I'd like, they always have excellent suggestions on what to try for what I'm looking for. I work outdoors a lot of the time and don't like being cold or wet so appreciate the help they provide. Great promotions and discounts are available, these bring prices down, which I love. You can also order online and pick up in-store if you know what you're after.
Thank you Jay for your knowledge and expertise in helping me decide on a rucksack, hiking shoes and waterproof trousers. No pressures to buy which was lovely. I'd definatly recommend this shop and will return definatly return for any future purchses
Restricted range of women's clothing, limited to own brand ranges whereas mens dept has Rab etc. Apparently not much demand for known brands. Small shop, limited stock.
