I have been looked after by the Blackheath Eyecare practice for almost 20 years. They have supported with me with glasses, contact lenses, general eye health, professional eye problem advice culminating in successful cataract procedure. In particular I would commend optician Ravi Sohal who is thorough, professional and kind and always gives his time freely although this is a busy practice. He always considers one's particular needs carefully and gives his unendingly patient and individual attention. The other members of staff are also very professional, friendly and helpful and give great advice when it comes to choosing frames.I always come away from there feeling like they are genuinely happy to have been able to help. I would whole heartedly recommend this opticians.

I tried to get contact lenses fitted for the past 5 years. Previously, every lens prescribed to me would leave me with blurry vision. Dr. Ravi Sohal solved the problem after just one appointment. I couldn’t believe it! I now wear contacts comfortably throughout the day, and have very clear vision with them. Thank you very much!

Dr. Ravi was extremely thorough, patient, and kind during his exam and Busy (spelling?) was knowledgeable, patient and personable while helping me buy a pair glasses/lenses. It's my responsibility to leave this review because they far exceeded my expectations.

Wonderfully stocked and very clean opticians in Blackheath. Polite and knowledgeable staff will look after you from the moment you step into this colourful decorated shop. This newly refurbished opticians has all you need for your frames and lenses, so that you can be a visionary too :-)

I have been with blackheath eyecare for roughly 15 years, and couldn't be happier. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and always make time to fit in last minute appointments when needed. I see Ravi who takes the time to sit and chat about what he can see in his images on screen, and also makes me feel relaxed and comfortable. They use all the top equipment to ensure the best care is taken of eyes. Highly recommended service :)
