I actually went to the Black Isle Bar for dinner, however the pub is known is a unique craft beer bar in Inverness. They sell organic beers that come from their brewery that is located on the Black Isle [it’s worth a visit there too]. They also have a range of organic wines and whiskies. The Black Isle Bar is the perfect spot in Inverness to enjoy a beer with a wood fire pizza. In warm weather head up to their rooftop bar. They’re also dog friendly and have great vegan options, and food is locally sourced and organic where possible.

Been to this place a few times now and it is worth the 4.6 stars Jan 2025.   A simple rustic vibe.  Great local beers from Black Isle brewery and guest ales and great pizza.   Has a tremendous roof terrace too with lots of nooks and crannies and sit.  Would recommend you sit in roof terrace but wrap up warm.nnTwo suggested improvements:n- a few more heaters on the roof terrace would be welcome for those cold winters evenings.  Especially inside the ‘sheds’.  With a little more warmth inside each shed - it would be a next level bar and you’d stay probably stay longer/ spend more.nn- mobile app ordering and paying.  We are all getting lazy these days and are too used to mobile app ordering and table service.nnWould whole heartedly recommend this place to anyone passing through Inverness.

Absolutely delicious wood fired pizzas served hot within minutes of placing an order. Might be little hard to get a table of your own, mostly everyone shares tables . Enjoyed Both organic beer and gin and tonic we ordered . It’s little noisy but service was good.

Lovely people! Great locally sourced food ! Best  vegetarian / vegan / gluten free options that our group cherished. Incredible garlic bread, pizza and beer. Highly recommended

Loved this so much. 26 beers on tap and every variation you could ask for, staff super friendly. Nice to talk too and experience of beer given. Only slight downmarket is that you could not but anything merchandise from bar, had to go to brewery which was across the river.
