Fantastic .... the great British Pub returns and all is well. Lovely staff, good food , dog friendly and great landlord. Oh did I mention good beer. Shame its 60+ miles from home.

Excellent Atmosphere. New owners made us feel very welcome. Couldn't do enough to accommodate us. Food was good and fabulous value. The Apple crumble was amazing. Would recommend this pub. 5/5

Popped in for a late Sunday roast with my family and some friends. The Bull is very welcoming and was in full swing when we arrived with a couple of screen showing the football. We got table away from the main bar so which meant we could relax while the kids enjoyed their lunch. Bar and table staff were friendly and helpful, as indeed were the patrons. The Roast were very tasty, good portions with plenty meat. A good children's menu along with colouring in and crayons meant everyone was happy. The new landlord took time to say hello and to ensure we were happy and that all was well. Well worth a visit.

My wife and I met up here with our daughter, we had our 2 dogs with us. There is a pub car park at the rear of the building, accessed from New Road. We had lunch and the meal, service and welcome from all the staff was amazing, even the 2 dogs were welcomed with a water bowl and dog treats. I would not hesitate to recommend the Black Bull.
