I love this pub. It's the best boozer in the area by a long chalk and eclipses any thing in Cleck where I've recently moved to used to be my local when I lived in Liversedge As such and sadly I don't pop-in as often as I used to but today, on a winter mid-week afternoon when it was empty and I came in, the charm of its quality beer and decor won me over yet again. Cheers! Parking: On street outside or down side street. TBH forget the car and get a taxi/Uber
Don't judge from the outside as it doesn't look anything special. This is an Excellent pub with a really good range of decent beers especially the Ossett brewery to choose from. Nice and varied seating inside and out and, dog friendly too! Was very impressed! Busy but not mad on my visit and friendly locals and bar staff too.Service: 5/5
Great local boozer. Friendly staff and a decent selection of drinks. Pub quiz on Tuesday is a laughService: 5/5
Lovely traditional pub, lots of hand pull choices. Hidden seats round the back
Good atmosphere. Busy Sunday afternoon and only 2 staff on duty - one of them obviously a newbie, so bit under pressure! Great beer, as always, Ossett Brewery. Defo worth a visit!Service: 2/5
Nice couple of drinks after Miller & Carter. Nice surroundings and ambience.Service: 5/5
Ossett Brewery pub. Decent craft beers but the strongest is Excelsius at only 5.2%. They could do with a stronger IPA or DIPA tbf. As Ossett now own Salt Brewery it would be nice to see something like Tram Double NEIPA on Keg.
Excellent not my local but do go in regularly with friends always good beer and goo atmosphereFood: 5/5
Lovely warm pub with great Ales and friendly staff
Always a friendly face in this local pub! Lovely decor, homely feeling with a log fire in the winter months & a sun trap out back in the summer! Plenty of seating to enjoy the great background music when we're not practicing our 'arrows' on the dartboard. Happy to call this our local
