A speciality beer shop - Stocking hundreds of hard to find hoppy treats for the discerning drinker. Chris and Ann opened Bitter Virtue in 1997 because they thought that there were a lot of people who shared their pleasure in the fruit of the hop, but who found it difficult to find an interesting range of beers. Now, the team - Chris, Ann and Claire - are working hard every day to bring you the very best US Craft Beers : UK Beers; Draught Beer for Home;

Amazing little place. Huge range of interesting beers and very helpful staff!
Normally buy beer here. The queuing system is so slow need a better online ordering system so you don't have to wait out in the rain. Ended up going to Cork & Bottle in Shirley. Walked straight in there no problems.

A wonderful little place with probably the widest range of beers I've seen. Kind staff with a genuine passion for the craft of beer and a limited selection of generally delicious ciders and meads. Out of the way but still easily acceccable with room to park. If you like beer do yourself a favour and swing by.
A wonderful selection of beers from around the world. That along with the fund of knowledge from Ann and her partner make a visit an education and fun.
The best beer shop I know right on my door step!
