This is an absolute gem of a pub! The beer choice is great and invariably very well kept, but it is the staff that make this place truly exceptional. The friendly welcome and caring engagement make for a wonderful atmosphere. Be aware that you are able to take in your own food - fish&chips from Seftons, curry from Two Chefs.
An unusual bar with table service only. I asked for a good IPA and had a pint of Symphony. Not too bad, but it certainly had a kick. Pub quiz on whilst I arrived, something that I enjoy, but too late to enter. Very popular with the locals and one can easily see why. Locals enjoying fish and chips delivered by...I'm not sure. Give this one a try.
This really is my favourite 'local', family-owned and a real effort is made to make everyone welcome. Two bars, you can take in your own food even chippy over the road and they will supply cutlery/plates. Spot on! Good choice of artisan beers and ciders from the cask, wine for wine-drinkers. Beers and ciders change regularly, there is also a quiz night, music nights and dogs are welcomed. When I go back to Lichfield this is my first stop off point, great group of 'locals' too.
I really like the nontraditional style of this pub/bar, with table service and a grungy outdoor style. I didn't eat there, but went for a drink with friends. Good selection of beers, live music and very warm welcome from the owner.
Real ales and beers, fab ciders +++ No TV, no music occasionally live music. Kid, dog and cycle friendly. Excellent beer garden. Superb staff! Keep up the good work.Service: 5/5
Located just outside Lichfield City railway station. Good selection of real ale and ciders at a reasonable price. Looks small from the outside but inside there are several rooms so plenty of space for the level of custom. The staff were great and eager to please.

Excellent pub serving a comprehensive range of craft beers. We particularly enjoyed the German beers on tap. Spacious beer garden and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this pub enough! Will be returning again and again!
