Lovely meal, very well priced and great views (especially around sunset) if you're lucky enough to get seated by a window. Only criticism was that overly needy survey at the end with 20+ questions that was completely overkill

This has been in Weston for a while now, and was always one of those places that I meant to go to... finally did it! It's an unusual building, but don't let that put you off. We walked in and, as we wanted food, were directed to the Bistro upstairs - they do bar food downstairs if that's all you are looking for. We were greeted and sat down - not too busy at the time we went. We had decided - on looking at the menu online - to go for the fixed price menu. On reading through the main menu, though, we were both sorely tempted otherwise! Our drinks were brought over, and I ordered the Brioche et champignons Toasted brioche with fricassée of mushrooms. I chose to have mine with Alsace bacon, but a vegetarian option is there as well. My partner ordered the Calamars. When you order "Mushrooms on Toast", you don't really think much of it, but I was very wrong. It was utterly amazing. The rich creamy sauce - full of mushrooms - lay on a bed of toasted, but soft, bread. This was topped with bacon - what more could you want. I can't comment on the squid, as it's not my thing. For main I had Porc sauce béarnaise, slow-cooked pork with béarnaise sauce and yet more crispy bacon! My partner had the Steak Frite. Again, both of these dishes were superb. My pork dish was cooked to perfection - the meat just fell apart as you ate it. The sauce was just flavoured enough to not overpower the rest of the ingredients. It was served with a selection of vegetable. The steak was also cooked as ordered, served with garlic/parsley butter and very nice chips. We declined dessert, as we were both full. Highly recommend this place. Not ridiculously expensive, and slightly better than some of the other seafront competition.

The steak was good but the service is poor, I received my steak and once I finished the steak they then brought the potatoes and vegetables, very poor timing.
