Open every day. Really well kept. Lovely to have picnics, walk around, take photos, views of cathedral.
It's a small treasure in the middle of Chichester. A very nice and maintained garden a many of squirrels and birds. Around the Cathedral walls it feels like you can walk back the times.
So pretty! A very calm place, everyone there at the same time as me was very polite and the general noise level was low. There are also so many interesting plants around.
A peaceful and beautiful oasis in the heart of Chichester. Wonderfully maintained by a dedicated team, with such an interesting array of flora and fauna. So enjoy having the cathedral overlooking the gardens.

What a beautiful tranquil place in the middle of Chichester. Lots of history and well kept grounds. Will definitely be revisiting when the gardens are in bloom.
A visit to the cathedral city of Chichester would not be complete without seeing the Bishop’s Palace Gardens, adjacent to Chichester Cathedral. Now administered by Chichester District Council, they are full of beautiful flowers, trees, lawns for picnics, and Roman walls.
