Use this station regularly. Has both a ticket machine and a manned ticket office. Large free car park. Regular trains to Liverpool, West Kirby, and New Brighton from here. Also has a lift from the station platform to the car park access.
An old victorian station in the Wirral line, with trains to Liverpool city centre and both New Brighton and West Kirby. There is a manned ticket office, platforms are accessed by a new looking walkover, complete with lifts as well as stairs.
Clean station, helpful staff. There are lifts here and wheelchair accessible entrances, and a huge park and ride. Toilets are on platform and require a radar key.
VERY easy to get to as I live just 2 MINUTES AWAY on alwen street so very easy accessible for my family of Sam rogers
Birkenhead north station is a great station park all day for free, train's to Liverpool every few minutes, just don't leave the car overnight as you'll get a parking charge.
Nice old station buildings juxtaposed with modern and very expensive footbridge with lifts on both sides. MASSIVE car park with space for 600-700 cars, but very popular as a park and ride location so spaces still at a premium.
I needed help with the ticket machine on 3rd September 2022 and waited for a railway attendant to aknowlege that I was standing in front of him, missing a train in the mean time. When he eventually aknowleged I was there he just said I can't hear you and carried on with what he was doing. I had to request assistance from another railway traveller. Totally demoralising.
Quite a large train station to have 1 ticket machine. Works as intended
Not a bad station, but when the lift is out of service on both sides, it can be a pain to try and get on to the other side of the platform, which isn't much good for wheelchair and pram users.
A nice, balanced station that has wheelchair access via lift to get to one or the other platforms
