Great restaurant caters for everyone! I am on a very strict diet and asked the manager what he could cook for me and it was such a lovely meal for myself, the chicken was so tender and requested not too much sauce and I enjoyed it a lot. They use no msg. The staff were very polite and the restaurant looked like it had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend, suitable for all.

Really sad to write this review but unfortunately its a must. We used to come to this restaurant all the time and loved it for many years! It changed hands and has not been the same since. We came here on Monday and had a lovely experience to be fair and staff were very friendly. Unfortunately I had severe food poisoning since and can only put it down to food here. Sadly we wont be back here again which is a shame as it was one of our favourite places. It may have been a one off but we had a meal here last year which was awful. The dishes tasted chemically with a plastic after taste! :(

We only visit Tavistock occasionally, but when we do a visit to Birds Nest is a must. Great food and friendly staff. It's a little tucked away for finding on your first visit but well worth finding.

I am a regular at this restaurant and have take away from here as well I have been going here for years the staff are always very polite and professional and nothing is to much trouble for them the good taste great and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Nice little restaurant with nice staff and good flavours especially the ginger but the sides were a rip off. Egg fried rice with no trace of egg for £3.65 and jasmine tea at £4.20 which was 1 teabag and some hot water!!!! Tea Bags are 20p from Tesco. No wonder only 4 people in the place.
