A brilliant shop which always has a wide range of exciting items for boys and girls. Lovely to find lots of gender neutral items in stock too, which I found very helpful when buying for an unborn baby! The staff are so friendly and can't do enough to help when asked. Such a lovely asset to Fowey!

An amazing selection of toys and gifts! I’ve used birdkids to get my sister presents and will be sure to use it again. Excellent online service and I’m sure the shop will be just as good!

Truly the worst customer service ever – I was humiliated, laughed at, scolded and judged by a pompous old man who spoke over me when I called to ask for help as next day delivery had not arrived (as paid for). 1-star as none is not possible. I placed a sizeable order of party decorations and birthday presents for my son for next day delivery, having been let down by another company. Order confirmation and shipping all went ahead as planned but delivery guaranteed by 1pm next day did not happen. When I called at 2pm to ask for help and refund on shipping premium for express shipping, the man implied I hadn't been home – even though the tracking info clearly showed delivery had not be attempted rather was "in transit". I was very clear that I appreciated it was a 3rd party doing the shipping but was met with "what do you expect me to do, bring it to your house?" I was told no refund on shipping unless it hadn't been delivered by the end of the day, even though the cut off point of 1pm had already lapsed. He then proceeded to laugh at me, which I took great offence to – no apology, spoke over me when I tried to explain this was a 2nd order as let down elsewhere and items were required for child's party that day. Then subjected to this horrible man launching into a torrent of judgement that he found it "quite extraordinary someone having a party would leave it so late to order". He wouldn't listen to what I was trying explain but scolded me (41 years old) like a small child. Utterly disgusting service and he reduced me to tears. Avoid this shop – they do not value customers and provide disgusting customer service! He was quite happy for me to leave a review of my experience so here it is...I currently still do not have the order but they have debited my account.
