Nice cozy place with great variety of japanese-style skewers food. We dropped by for a bite and quite liked it. Food selection is nice, however food itself is simplistic. Low price is compensated by small portions. It would be nice if waiters provided more detailed comments about dishes, but since dishes are small, we just choose a few to try. Recommended, especially if you'd like to try something unusual or don't want to eat a lot.
The food is absolutely fantastic, but I can echo sentiments in other reviews - the portions are tiny you have to buy two of pretty much everything too, so it rapidly adds up. To give you an idea - a meal for three with a bottle of wine came to 130. Ouch. That sound, for what you do get, the quality is excellent - in fact that's some of the best grilled meat I've had in a long time. Service was really lacking - the several waiters we had didn't seem to really listen to us, with one order that never came, water never provided, and staff that felt pushy. All in all, still a wonderful evening, and I'd go here again.
Bincho is one of my favorite places in London. The food is excellent and the decor is low-lit and very interesting and creative. The sake deals on Monday are great, and there is often a good DJ in the lounge at the back of the restaurant, adding to the cool urban vibe. The cost is very reasonable for the quality, and the service is very polite and kind. I highly recommend Bincho and would go back without reservation.
Absolutely delicious food, the chicken oysters are incredible but the portions are quite small and it's easy to run up the bill. Would recommend it though as the smell and sounds of the grill will make anyone hungry unless you're vegetarian
This is a decent place but they do not serve sushi or sashimi!!!!!......Although they do have plum wine which is delicious. If its BBQ grill your after, this place is decent but the portions are small. Also, before you start ordering make sure you know 100 percent what 1 portion involves. Overall a pleasant restraunt with good service and yummy food but nothing mind blowing.
Came on a Monday for yakitori which are amazing little Japanese skewers. They were only £1 too on Mondays. The pork belly was awesome. Would also recommend the chilled sake. Downstairs also is a secret little cocktail bar with a large selection of whiskeys.
Serving kushiyaki and yakitori sticks only, Bincho is a great little find in Soho. We ordered a wide selection of skewers but we especially liked the pork belly and the quail eggs delicacies. The restaurant was dimly lighted with black and white photos and the wall was peppered with Japanese characters, you quickly forget you're situated in the heart of London.
This very stylish bar and grill offers up lovely little skewers also known as Kushiyaki/Yakitori. The portions were a tad small, but the aim seemed to be about simplistic food focusing on the quality rather than quantity. We ordered the chicken liver, pork belly and unagi, which were all fantastic, and finished off with particularly moorish soymilk doughnuts. I would definitely recommend coming along to sample and share some skewers whilst having a few relaxing drinks with a couple of friends. The Kung Fu Girl Riesling on offer is a wonderful dessert wine for those with a sweeter tooth. #TubeDinner
Poor quality for the price. This restaurant used to be on taste London. I would not recommend paying full price. The dishes are quite small. The bbq sticks were over cooked. They seemed to use poor quality meat. I was very disappointed.
Japanese-style izakaya in London. Good, but very expensive. Do not expect the same cost-performance as those in Japan; half size, double price. Waiters were relatively unfriendly.
