I typically use the Bilbrough Filling Station late at night or in the small hours, as it's easy and quick to get to just off the A64. It's also never busy, but instead it ticks over. The small shop attached as a selection of travel snacks, usually chocolate, but other stuff too. There's a coffee machine, which may be important, and the fuel is usually not outrageously priced too.

Good and clean petrol station but it was quite difficult to go back to the busy road. Nearly danger because there's no enough space.

Bilbrough Filling Station is on the A64 eastbound, not on the A659. Google Maps wrongly shows it at both locations.
