Lee had an absolute awful attitude to me, I lost the key, paid for a new one and he was not happy having to change it so I headed down and was half way when he shouted me and demanded me to head back to reception cause he didn't like to be watched over his work, so he said and with a very bad tone. Did this in front of an apprentice young lad. How embarrassing, I said I'll wait here cause this is very far, shouted again telling me to head back to reception where he would hand me the new keys. This was last week and I'm still shocked, decided not to make a review last week as I was very upset over this behaviour. I never been treated like this anywhere else. He is despicable and not suitable to deal with clients. Will ask for the complaint policy and email the right individual to put an official complaint cause no client deserves such awful treatment. Always paid my bills on time, receiving this treatment isn't acceptable. I actually called him unpolite to which he turned his face away and ignored me.
Big Padlock Storage Unit in UptonnIf you have any units here then I would advise you to go and check your belongings.nI had a unit here from 23rd June and went yesterday and from the damage all my belongings are ruined with water damage mould and the stench is unbearable.nThis company must of known there was a leak, as its come from the roof which is visible to everyone.nI went there yesterday and the receptionist couldn't give 2 hoots about the situation, handed me a form to fill in for insurance which apparently is only covered for 3k. I have a full 4 bedroom house in there so you can imagine whats ruined. Irreplaceable items from when my children where babies,nThen to tell me I had to remove it all at my own cost! No apology Nothing. My subscription ended on 19th July fully paid up until 23rd August yet they've just taken another £300 out of my account!!nAvoid this company they are disgustingnI have lost everything i am absolutely devestatednThis company need to be held to accountable
Very pleased with the service we got from Big Padlock. Lee and Dalia are both very pleasant and I always felt safe there out of hours. Contract terms were explained clearly and the place was nice. Good to see they’re proactive with maintenance too. Compared to the place in Birkenhead who were also very nice Big padlock were cheaper and more convenient.
Very easy to deal with. Reasonable rates 24 hour access.nUPDATE: Needed to cancel my unit today. Very easy to do, no drama, they cancelled the direct debit at the same time so I know it's done. Brilliant to deal with. I will use again if needed.
Kept our stuff here from a house move for a few months. Parking is limited, especially for larger vehicles. Security is good, key fobs to enter the main reception then another to get into the units, then you have your key for the barrel and lock to enter the actual storage unit. Pricing is very high for the units given the local competition.nnWe only dealt with one staff member, a young lady with dark hair, very direct in her approach and not very customer friendly.nnAll in all, it's ok, but there are better options out there.
