What a great experience! These guys really know how to deliver exceptional service. We have been working together to design and build our custom coffee pod for Small Batch here in Brighton. Both Claire and Russ have been wonderful throughout the whole process. The pod looks fantastic and Russ trained us on all the necessary workings to allow us trade in confidence. I've recently taken possession of my hand crafted 400E Classic Ape serving coffee & hot drinks on the side and Prosecco, Frizzante and beer from the rear. Throughout my journey, everyone at The Big Coffee has & continues to be incredible. The service, advice and the quality of the teams workmanship is 1st class and I can't thank the entire crew enough for all their hard work and due diligence to create what is quite simply a work of art. I've had so much positive interest and incredible feedback from my Ape and we're hoping for a fabulous summer of market trading, summer balls, outdoor theatre and private hire. Many, many thanks again all, you're a great team offering a brilliant product that people simply adore....
I purchased my mobile unit from the Big Coffee just under a year ago. The service and attention to detail has always been impeccable even now I can contact the office if I ever need help or advice. My unit has just been returned to me after it’s annual service, which was collected and returned to me at my convenience and not only is my unit looking new again - the big coffee also replaced an small item under warranty. Excellent as always guys and thank you for all your support.
The Big Coffee were all very welcoming and the experience of ordering our trailer through to completion was very smooth. More importantly, as all purchases from any company can occasionally have the odd issue, for me it's about how a company deals with those issues. Although our issues were minor, the big coffee have shown a 5 star rating in customers service throughout our journey and we hope to be ordering further trailers from them in the near future.
Rob and the team at The Big Coffee have been amazing to work with from the very get go. They were extremely informative about everything to do with their Van's, all of the optional availability and what would work best for myself and my business. After picking up the van they have maintained an extremely professional standard of after care, answering any questions I have had about the van or anything else whilst starting up and have had no qualms making sure that I have had the most positive start possible to get my business up and running. I have no doubt that they will be there to help out going into the future and I look forward to hopefully purchasing further vehicles in the future once the business kicks off! Their Van's are very sleek, extremely efficient in both cost and running and mine is constantly turning heads in the street! A large thank you to everyone in the company and I can't recommend this company enough to anyone considering getting into the mobile coffee business.
Unfortunately after two years I have to agree with the only negative review, that was my only thought before purchasing from Big Coffee and it turns out it was quite accurate. Already from the beginning we had a faulty grinder and two faulty batteries. Terrible after sales service as I had to chase them for months. Within the first year a small part in the group popped and we need to had it fixed. Big Coffee does not have contractors anywhere and work on a ridiculous warranty policy, where for the simplest thing you need to ship the van to Hull!!!! Anyway, the solution would come from Fracino. We booked a technician, fixed the job, attempted to claim the money back but the coffee machine warranty, which supposedly we bought new, was expired two years prior to us buying it. While trying to resolve this issue we had an electricity failure. We had a technician over and turned out that the connectivity in the main board was WRONG!!! Our electrician was shocked, as well as we were. After contacting the company they came up with lame excuses, pretty much implying that we did it ourselves!!!! They replied about a compulsory yearly test that would have identified the issue, which however is not legally binding for the first year as the HSE responsible for the trading area can prolong that to two years, which is in a few days and it would have identified the problem 7/7/21. After this excuse they, of course, disappeared, without even sending the amount of 25-something pounds they finally agreed to pay for the previous damage of 150! Extremely inconvenient and terrible after sales service. I would NOT recommend as the general quality was indeed not the best for the price. Tried Urban Tricycles for my next project and they are serious professionals. Consider doing some research as apparently those guys were stepping on the fact that they were kind of monopoly. Avoid if you can.
I bought a brand new Ape coffee cart from them 4 years ago. It failed it's first year gas check. Internal panels at the work end all rusting away, so having to get stainless steel replacements fabricated. Found that the earthing cable from mains to espresso machine had just been twisted together, and had simply been shaken apart - result - no earthing of the espresso machine or mains connected appliances. They did not use up-rated suspension coil springs, just tucked in some rubber blocks. Absolute rubbish company, getting away with charging me close on £20,000 for something I'm having to rebuild.
A huge thank you to the team at the Big Coffee for creating a fantastic conversion which is excellent value for money. Delighted with the finished product and look forward to using the company again in the future!
