Nice little cafe surrounded by activities for children. Limited vegan options however. Went early to try the vegan brekkie but not available so tried the vegan burger instead. No vegan cheese so quite dry. Still charging for vegan milk which is surprising in Brighton and Hove.
I didn't try the food but bought a drink from inside and sat outdoors. There's plenty of seating outside with lovely surroundings all around. I think it's a well looked after café, worth trying out, in a fantastic location!
Visiting my daughter in Hove and taking my two young grandchildren here, again , I am always impressed by this cafe and it’s amazing leisure park surroundings. Better in summer when the fabulous paddling pool. Is hugely popular. But the cafe has a great menu ranging from snacks to cooked meals and superbly friendly staff. Owned by Fat Boy Slim who is often seen serving and enjoying himself here, David Walliams also turned up and testimony to people of Hove, they were just said hello to and not pestered. Would recommend anyone with young children to visit here for a fun day out with a great cafe also
We came here for breakfast, I had the cream cheese and salmon bagel and my husband had the bacon bap, was very tasty, really reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly and chatty. Can't wait to come again when in Brighton next. Lovely location right next to Hove lagoon too, stock up before your walk into Brighton.
Totally top class vegan breakfast. Would give 11 stars if I could. Lovely friendly staff, piping hot food, amazing value and even a couple of sausage for my dog. Thanks Big Beach : best in Brighton
The soup I had was lovely no bread roll or anything else served with it. So I had to order some toast. My daughter like her vegan thing she had and my partner liked what she had , I couldn't have sos egg chips beans because it wasn't on the menu.Food: 5/5
outside area needs a good tidy, dog Pooh everywhere and bird Pooh on all the benches. The queue is always horrendous…the food is always good and it’s great to support a local legend. Spend some money and fix the place up abit. It’s going down hill fast. Come on fat boy slim your more proud of our town than your current effort.
Family friendly cafe. Handy little toy area to keep little ones amused. Good but basic seaside cafe menu. Friendly staff & atmosphereFood: 4/5
Great location. Lovely staff. Home made treats. Good coffee. Alcohole. Child friendly very. Toilets. What's not to like! Great for a light lunch while the kids wear themselves out at the skate park next door. Interesting Fat Boy Slim memorabilia on the walls.
Great place for young families. Big selection of well cooked food, eat in or large outside seating area.
