Modelo opened in April 2012 in what had previously been a Woolwich Building Society. The building is a fantastically quirky space with a great snug area to the rear and complimented by some new photographs being added to the already beloved classics. Modelo comfortably holds 80 covers and the near floor-to-ceiling windows to the front (which can be fully opened up during the warmer months) flood the building with light.

A very tasty breakfast at a good price, mainly we were impressed by the quality of the food and the atmosphere. The staff are hospitable and it is easy to order via their QR code. We will stop by for dinner next time!

Great service from a cheerful and helpful waitress, and good food. Steak wasn't medium rare as if ordered, it was well done but it was such a nice bit of steak, didn't seem worth complaining. Nice place, would go back.

Have been here for both dinner and drinks as well as brunch. Food has been really good on both occasions, and really affordable prices too. Love the vibe in there too!
Nice brunch even though portion size a little small. Chose the poached eggs on an English muffin with hollandaise sauce and opted for an extra with a portion of button mushrooms. Tasty but just not enough.

Was such a lovely setting for a meal, cocktails and drinks. Much better than pub grub at the Modelo lounge - similarly the alcampo lounge had great food and great service for a busy period. Defintately check this place out.
