Edit 4 (April 2018): You should check out the "Beyond Patient support" group on Facebook, if you've come here looking for an answer. Beatrice ought to be ashamed of herself. Edit 3 (April 2018): Well by this point it's safe to say this has turned into a complete shitshow, and most of the patients have run out of, well, patience. Whilst Beatrice was the most lovely person during my years of treatment, it's baffling that she would run away like this and leave so many people in the dark, and out of pocket. I'd love to think there was a genuinely good reason for all this, and I still hold a sliver of hope but even if Beyond does come back, I'm not sure how they'll evade the legal action that will no doubt be taken against them. Disappointing. Edit 2 (March 2018): Beyond have since e-mailed me saying they hope to resume regular service soon, I hope this is the case however I think it will take some time to regain patient confidence. Edit (Jan 2018): I have been unable to contact Beyond Dental Care as their phone line no longer works and nobody is answering my emails. I don’t live in Knutsford anymore so I’m literally going to have to make the journey just to see if the clinic is even open anymore. I don’t expect this from Beyond, but I have to alter my review in the hope they will at least notice this. I've been with Beyond Dental Care for the last two years and I have to say the service and care provided by my orthodontist, Beatrice, has been nothing less than exceptional. Whilst I was initially nervous about having orthodontic treatment, I am so, so glad that I've come here to get it done. Not only do I feel more confident about my teeth, but Beatrice and the staff at Beyond have made sure that every appointment is as comfortable as possible. I know exactly what's going on with my teeth too, as everything is explained in a language I understand (I'm not TOO scientific!) They have also been very flexible with my schedule, which is highly appreciated. All in all...perfect!

AVOID. Dr Luciola carried out orthodontic treatment to my upper and lower teeth. All was going well until the braces were removed and the fixed wire retainers were applied. These severely disrupted my bite, and after a few months both the upper and lower retainers fractured. Dr Luciola did not appear to know how to remedy the problem and at an appointment to remove excess glue (which she had applied in a poor attempt to fix the retainer) she cut away and damaged part of my front upper tooth! This required an emergency filling from my dentist. That was 3 years ago and since then I have had no response or apology and have had to pay more money for another orthodontist to remove the wire retainers, which I was told were unsuitable. I am left with no fixed retainers, teeth which have moved, a filling in my main front incisor and scratches all over my teeth where Dr Luciola removed the braces! Having paid UPFRONT I am STILL trying to obtain a refund or compensation for the poor treatment and additional costs to rectify the damage Dr Luciola caused, but she had completely ignored me. DO NOT RISK your dental health or that of children with this orthodontist!!

Sadly Beatrice has vanished, leaving a lot of devastated patients out of pocket and mid-treatment. I’ve set up a support group on Facebook so everyone in this postition can share experiences and advise each other. Please search for ‘Beyond patients’ group’. Please note that we need to make sure all members are genuine, so there will be a form of vetting process before your request to join is approved.

Edit> Still no personal response from Beatrice Luciola for 4+ months. There's a To let board outside for the whole place. We're going to have to have to contact the dental complaints service and the GDC. My partner paid Beatrice thousands for a brace and treatment in full (our life savings). Midway through, the place shut and phones cut off. My partner is very stressed. There is no orthodontist cover for broken brackets, wires, to check pain, or stop problems. How can this be allowed to happen? Isn't this dental negligence? Thought Dentists had a duty of care. Thought laws protected patients? Beatrice's website is still on, advertising for new people, says she is open, but hasn't spoken to current clients since last year. Compassionate leave is 3-5 days in any profession, not 4 months. Someones private life shouldn't be a reason to damage patients health, confidence and well-being. This dentist needs to tell all patients a date when she's returning. Then offer them a refund so they can choose to wait if reasonable, or go somewhere else. Anything else is immoral. I hope the dentist Dr Beatrice Luciola understands how unprofessional and unfair her behaviour is to her patients who trusted her.

"Beyond" Dental Care. "Beyond" in this case meant Beatrice Luciola was going to go beyond what anyone expected and defraud them. ~Beatrice Luciola has gone awol stealing everyone's money ~The business name changed last year ~She cancels appointments because she puts her fathers long term health problems before her patients care ~Worked alone in the building mostly ~Was expensive, we thought we were paying for quality ~Building went up to let and is now empty ~No appointments given for the last 5 months ~Phone lines have been disconnected (this was a regular occurrence) ~Correspondence has been ignored since last year ~Families have paid in full for treatment and Beatrice Luciola (Lusiola) has left clients with braces on and no treatment ~We have learnt she wasn't as good as we first thought and treatment might have to start again. ~Never been emergency cover (over winter a 7 week period) ~Suspicion charity is a tax dodge. Odd token day done on a luxury island people honeymoon on, when abroad living with her family. ~Orthodontist uses different names for herself and also for her business I am leaving this review because I'm an upset parent who is anxious about his child's teeth, well-being and self-esteem because this dentist has dropped off the radar for a 1/3 of a year. What is more despicable is this woman is rich, has a rich spouse and family and lives in an affluent area of Cheshire, when she's not in Kenya. She has ruined peoples teeth, left them depressed and upset and stolen money. That level of greed and lack of conscience astounds us. OUTCOME This dentist is in breach of contract with patients. Immediately refund patients in full so the remainder of treatment can be completed elsewhere. Please provide all with insurance details or you will hear from my solicitor. This dentists ability to prioritize her business and patients in working hours is a disgrace.
