A superb experience yesterday. Exceptional care and expertise from Jo and Lisa. Having recently been abroad and received atrociously poor care it was wonderful to get home and see people who knew what they were doing. Excellent communication and everything explained in detail. We had a warm and friendly welcome as soon as we arrived. Thank you so much.
Booked a time slot there after phone call to 111 and assessed by a surgery. Waiting for one and a half hour then seen by Dr Salah. Dr Salah was so nice to show me where is the Emergency Room I need to go to because I moved in Hull recently and not so familiar here. And thank you so much for his letter so that my mum could have further investigation promptly.
Took my son this morning as he’d damaged his thumb playing rugby yesterday. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Booked in, triaged, x-rayed, seen again to discuss the results and back in the car within an hour. Excellent service - thank you.
Really dont bother, unalble to put any weight on one foot and have been 3 times over 3 days to have it seen, each time was told there's at least a 4 hr wait to be seen, then wait for xray then wait to see the Dr, so an estimated 6 hrs! Plus xray closes at 5pm so if you go at 1pm or later you wont even get one and will have to go back! Rang Goole and they couldnt be more helpful, only 45mins wait, then xray, seen the Dr and out with fractured foot 1hr 30 mins later!! The same happened 4 years ago with my daughter, eneded up at Goole because Beverleywas so bad, I know Bev might be on my doorstep but its well worth the distance to go to Goole minor injuries instead!
After visiting this Hospital for an eye injury which happened to a work colleague. I would honestly say - “Avoid” if you don’t want to waste 4 hours waiting to be seen. A couple of people in the waiting room have been before and have also waited around 3 hours before on their previous visit! What they don’t tell you - if you need an X-Ray, that department closes @ 8pm! So you will be waiting for nothing. Only to be examined and ask to come back as a checked priority the next day or referred to HRI. If you also join the queue at peak times, and do not get to see a doctor/nurse, the lights go off and your referred to HRI. Emergencies & babies get priority as standard, just sit and watch them get called up. THINK BEFORE YOU GO > 3 or 4 hours to wait to be seen. Only good point. FREE PARKING! shame there was no complimentary drinks or snacks during the wait.
I unfortunately for me had to visit the unit on Saturday morning. I arrived in great pain at 7am to be met by a wonderful friendly & caring team of staff. Without exception every single person I came into contact with was lovely & importantly showed compassion. Some had I think been there all night as there was a shift change but you would never had guessed! I felt extremely lucky to have this amazing facility on my door step. Well done and a heartfelt thanks from me xxx
Excellent staff and service. Fell off ladder and went to Beverley Urgent care next day. Walked in at 10.20 am and left at 2.10 pm after full examination, X-Rays and thorough review of all results. Taking in account staff shortages can’t say enough good things about the care I received. Maybe a few more of us should start to talk more positively about the NHS and not “slag it off” all the time.
Thank you to all the lovely staff today, from the lady on reception ,Harry who did my Xray my lovely district nurse Maria and the nurse who applied my pot You are all outstanding and are worth your weight in gold..Thank you so much for looking after me.
Was there on Wednesday night made me a appointment to go back next day for xray was seen given crutches and strapped up within a hour EXCELLENT SERVICE AND STAFF
Took my grandson today Monday 3rd We were seen immediately on entry by a very friendly ,efficient receptionist, she took details & reacted very rapidly to Grandsons condition, she left the desk and got a nurse, the very lovely Sandie. What a thoroughly professional and more importantly friendly /caring nurse. She thoroughly questioned/tested/examined him , actively listened and responded. She contacted pediatrics at HRI & made sure he was expected there for further obsevation. He was found to have nothing sinister, but as Sandie said she referred him as his symptoms were concerning and she wanted to sleep tonight knowing she'd done the best for him and missed nothing. I can't thank these two fabulous women enough. My son , grandson and myself are very grateful. THANK YOU
