an awesome location, friendly staff, the room seaview is amazing. I ate in the restaurant and very good value and tasty food. the main courses were around £12 to £14. So 2 course for under £20.  The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 was I used the Sauna and it was shocking and did not get very warm which was a huge let down. The pool was nice. I was on a walking holiday so chilling out and relaxing after a day in the hills was important.

Nice welcome from locals making room at bar for us. Shame staff member was less welcoming. Drinks on the expensive side. Clean bar area. Wanted to give 4 stars but when my pint was taken away when I had not quite finished had to make it 3 stars. Disappointing.

Brilliant family run hotel and fully integrated with local people. You really get a feel for what Arran is all about. Great food, fabulous location overlooking the sea and sunsets. The hotel is clean and very well maintained with exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff. Big bonuses are the swimming pool and excellent WiFi! Great public bar too.

I will just have to back again for another relaxing break :-)

Didn't stay in the hotel, we will next time tho. Restaurant was lovely, food, service and price for a family of 5 was excellent.  Would recommend fish pie, nicest I've ever tasted, Eton mess sundae was scrumptious  , my daughters loved the pizza and macaroni cheese. We enjoyed it so much we ate there twice more and came second in the quiz on the Thursday evening.  The only slight issue was the women's toilets, cubicles were tiny, obviously Arran ladies are skinny, I unfortunately am not.  Slimming world here I come.......

We stayed here March 2018 great location great staff food was excellent and we were allowed our dog 🐶 with us definitely be back 🍻
