My wife and I have just had a lovely walk around the ramparts of the walls at Berwick- upon- Tweed. The town has a good variety of shops and cafes and is steeped in history. We've just enjoyed some very tasty gluten free fish and chips at Castlegate Chippy. The fish was cooked to perfection.

The walls and ramparts around Berwick-upon-Tweed are well worth walking especially on a sunny day. The area is well kept and there are many interesting defensive features.
