So scenic and peaceful. It is truely one of the most remote plaves in Britain.

Berney Arms is situated within the Berney Marshes and the Norfolk Broads as well as being along side the River Yare. It is an amazingly beautiful place to visit with the recently opened café and the disused public house sitting side-by-side, with the tallest windmill in Norfolk and the RSPB Berney Marshes sitting proudly here as well. The station is around a 5-10 minute walk from these landmarks, of which the station is surrounded by shrubbery and the open - also sporting an old black and white sign placed here from many of years ago. Walking to Berney Arms from Great Yarmouth is approximately a 5 mile journey west, taking approximatly 2 hours to complete. You will be along side the River Yare for most of the journey aswell as there being cows, birds, boaters and horses. Berney Arms is one of a few gems that must be seen to be believed! Wheather it be a quick & quiet escape or not, visiting when time is not an option is a must! Berney Arms is a beautiful place and is one of my favourite places away from the comfort of home, of which I hope other people feel the same way when visiting! ( Note that the station does not have a shelter, nor a help point or a ticket machine, tickets can be purchased from the on-board conductor. )
