Daily we source the finest and freshest seafood and poultry available to satisfy our customers needs.
Bernard Corrigan Ltd was founded in 1949. The company originally traded from a modest outlet alongside the old Glasgow Fish Market on the banks of the River Clyde. Due to fast and efficient service and rapidly achieving a reputation for the freshness of produce at the keenest prices the operation expanded throughout the years, moving premises several times, until the present day city centre site was acquired in 1982. The Howard Street site affords access to the numerous top quality restaurants and catering establishments supplied by the company. Our retail shops at both Howard Street and Byres Road are equipped with experienced and friendly staff who provide our customers with the best possible service and ensure they choose the ideal products for their individual needs.
PRODUCE
Only the best quality produce is selected daily by Bernard Corrigan Ltd direct from Scotland’s coastal fishing ports as well as the Shetland and Hebridean Isles. This ensures only the best quality fish is available to our many and varied customers; which is then distributed throughout Scotland in our fleet of refrigerated vehicles.
We also deal in the freshest poultry and supply many of the country’s top hotels and restaurants with fresh chicken, chicken supremes and poultry products. Our specialist team of poulterers can skilfully prepare to individual specifications as required.
A wide variety of products can be obtained ranging from the traditional Haddock, Whiting, Cod and Salmon to the more unusual such as John Dory, Swordfish and Sea Bream. Exotic tropical fish can be sourced from abroad and made available to our customers the following day.
