Excellent service! When you don't know a lot about mortgages it's hard to find a good advisor who will put your needs first rather than the needs of the company. So glad to have Rachael Leonard dealing with my mortgage. Rachael is super friendly and very efficient. Gets things done and makes things happen very quickly. Above all, though, her knowledge of all things mortgage-related is very comprehensive indeed. She knows exactly what kind of mortgage you'll need for your particular situation, which mortgage provider is likely to approve your application, what kind of documentation you need to provide, everything. This is the only free service of its kind in Durham and it is absolutely five star. The rest of the team at Ben Charles are great, too. A real pleasure to deal with. Thanks!

I was a first time buyer, so more than apprehensive. I approached Rachael at Ben Charles. Rachael was very friendly and immediately put my mind at ease, reassuring me that all would be fine. Rachael was easy to contact, and always returned calls. I can honestly say nothing was too much trouble for her. I was more than happy with my Mortgage deal I received. Big thank you xx

Rachael always carefully explains each option and then takes the necessary steps to ensure smooth completion. I have used Ben Charles Financial Services for around ten years. They coordinated my first house loan and I have remained with them ever since. Rachael Leonard manages our accounts. She gave me clear and helpful advice when I remortgaged (twice) and answered all my questions. She was especially good at providing a number of financial options and I always felt that she had my best interests in mind. She even helped me sort out several issues with my home insurance company long after we had bought the package - something which went far beyond the kind of service offered by other financial offices. Whenever I visited the staff were friendly and ready provide cup of tea.
