I met Annabel at the N.E.C National wedding show this year. I found and bought my wedding dress from them that day. I love my dress and their customer service on that day was fantastic. However, I can't give them 5 stars because I am not very impressed with the after service. As the dress fits almost perfectly, and I only need a couple of minor adjustments, and a way of keeping my train out the way for my evening reception, I was able to take my dress home. But although they promised to send us details of a local seamstress in Nottingham for my fittings they have not delivered, and we have been the ones chasing them. I'm starting to get the impression that they are more interested in making sales and taking your money than really caring about the brides that visit them. It's such a shame. In some ways I am beginning to regret my purchase and putting my trust in them.

Looking for a wedding dress is a big day in the wedding calendar. I have been to other bridal shops in the South-West region, but I was looking for something different. I was looking for someone who knew their dresses, knew what dresses suited what shapes, and who had a large range from which to choose. Belle of the Ball Bridals was a lucky find. The staff are exceptionally well trained and have much experience in giving you a service that is personal and reflects what it is a bride wants, and how you want it to look. When I started looking for something I had no real idea of what I wanted. This meant I was shown many dresses and styles. The staff at the Belle of the Ball Bridal asked me many questions about what it was I liked. They then showed me how dresses could look, and be altered if needed. This lovely quaint bridal shop offered me a bespoke service that I had not realized was possible to find. My wedding dress had many alterations that were of a high quality and fair price. Nothing was too much trouble or out of the question. The ultimate aim was that I would have a dress that I wanted and looked the way I wanted it to – not a designers idea of what it should look like. I had many fittings along with the 8 bridesmaids! It was always a fun and enjoyable experience visiting the shop. The personal service you offered to help dress myself and the bridesmaids at the venue, also took the stress out of the day. My heart felt thanks go to Annabel and Sharon from myself, my husband and the 8 bridesmaids. You made the whole experience and the wedding day magical for us all.

Booked an appointment and was asked what my budget was over the phone. When I arrived (after travelling 40miles) I was told they do not have any dresses in my budget and it was a wasted journey. A couple of friends bought dresses in here before and recommended it although I was disappointed.
