Absolutely great food experience here, top notch all round. Fresh ingredients and flavours. Real family run feel about the place and staff were fantastic, quite surprised for being in Belfast. Really enjoyed this place found it by pure accident and glad we did. Highly recommend it. We will be returning. Thank you Bella Vita for the meal.
Incredible Pizza! Delicious stone-baked pizza, so flavourful & fresh. Service is genuinely friendly & efficient. Signature pizza menu is superb. Belissimo Food: 5/5
Well, to my very personal opinion the very best small, casual Italian the owner proudly says “Irish-Italian” restaurant in the whole of Northern Ireland. When I ask my team “do you want fancy or good?” they always pick Bella Vita! Enjoy!! PS: Definitely the best Bolognese pasta in NI !!
My partner and I, dined here for our first meal together 7 years ago, when it was known as "Opera". It was cosy, romantic, the food was beautiful and the staff were friendly. While in Belfast last night, we didnt know where to eat, until we came across "Bella Vita". When we realised this was where we had our first meal, we decided to try it again and we cannot put a finger on one bad point. When we arrived, we had our 2 daughters, a 6 year old, who had something to eat prior to arriving and only wanted a dessert, and our 3 month old, who was in her pram. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, re-arranging all their tables to accommodate for the pram. They were very friendly, with good conversation, and there was a real family feeling about the place. Nothing was too much for them! We ordered 2 pizzas, which were amazing, with lots of garlic mayo, and a dessert for our daughter, which she love! In 7 years, all we can say, is this place has become even more outstanding. With amazing food, a cosy, family atmosphere, wonderful staff and a funny man statue in the toilet. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place to anyone. Amazing work guys, keep it up!!!
My husband and I popped in last night and were treated to, not only delicious food, but a great atmosphere and banter also. The chef had us in stitches and served us a truly delicious goat’s cheese salad and pizza. It’s a pity that one cannot buy wine to enjoy with dinner, but there’s no issue with BYO, so that’s okay. We’ll be back again, especially if the same chef and waitress are on duty. Take a bow, girls! You’re amazing!
Lovely Little restaurant, great service, but the food, the pizza we got was Just amazing, really enjoyed it!
Lovely place! Attentive staff Wrap was good and my partner enjoyed the burger.
Two of the worst crusts I've ever had from a takeaway. One of them clearly a cheap frozen pizza they reheated, the other looked better but tasted worse. Both pizzas missing toppings, this place used to be good but this was a disaster. Don't waste your money. -Update- What an appalling response - are you just trying to go viral or are you genuinely this rude? Read a few of your other reviews, seems you always respond like this to any criticism. No, I wasn't drunk. No, I did not order gluten free pizza. No, there was no 'next table', this was a delivery. There was no poor attitude to your staff, we only dealt with deliveroo who were lovely and refunded us fully. I've had a great meal from you before, so why not find out what went wrong on this occasion instead of hurling abuse? The pizzas were both missing toppings, both bases were terrible and were stale. What you sent tasted like a 40p frozen supermarket pizza that you'd thrown some spinach on. Why didn't you just contact us to say you couldn't fulfil the order instead of sending something below any acceptable standards? I like good pizza but do admit that even a dominos would of been a wiser move - at least we'd of got an edible meal. Thankfully there several good independent professional pizzerias nearby, such as Reggie's, Nico's, Woodfired Pizza, Little Wing, Little Italy, Amici to name a few. Good luck with your business, I hope it improves to it's old standards and you have the good sense to employ someone less rude to respond to reviews.
Ever heard of don't judge a book by its cover? It fits this little place perfectly! Doesn't look like much from outside, and the decor is... odd. And dated. However, the food is UNREAL. I ate here recently for handing ess and honestly, it's going to be my regular for belfast now. Superb food. The staff are hilarious and great craic - true belfast people! And it's BYOB with a very reasonable menu. If I could give 6 stars I would!
one of the best restaurants in Belfast, food is amazing. I don't eat pork, and when they knew that, they didn't charge me for the order. Thanks for all staff here, they are amazing. Definitely I will be coming back
