Twice weekly myself, work colleagues and my clients order from Bella Italian as it is located near our place of work- and I have to say every time it is delivered it has something wrong with the order, or ALL of it is wrong. It is also stone cold food most of the time. I am not one for writing negative reviews, or a review at all in that case HOWEVER tonight I am making an exception due to the disgusting customer service we received when getting in touch with Bella Italian to confirm they had missed half of our £65 order- the food was ALL cold, a chicken burger came as a piece of chicken on a plain, dry bun- no salad or even BUTTER on the bread, and also a chicken Calzone with mushroom was received- however the mushrooms were raw mushrooms. When calling Bella, the "gentleman" was VERY dismissive stating first that the Calzone didn't have mushrooms on, then stated that the mushrooms are cooked. When we confirmed that the mushrooms were %100 not cooked- he stated that its not his fault "we just put it in the oven". We also confirmed that it did not have any of the sauce on which it states it should have on the menu. We then requested a refund and for them to come pick the uncooked food up and drop another one off- in which the reply was "that will be extra delivery charge". It was then put to him that we spend over £100 a week on their takeaway, and it is not our fault that you have sent us uncooked food- so why should we have to pay and extra lot of delivery charge for their error? The mans reply was "I'm a busy man I don't need to refund or drop anything off if I don't want to". The lady who's meal was uncooked came onto the phone and expressed her concerns- she is foreign so has a slight accent- the "gentleman" on the other end of the line said "look lady, I don't know what country YOUR from, but we don't cook it like that here in England". She then stated well I wont order again- in which we got yet another unpleasant reply of "I have hundreds of customers I don't care". He then hung up the phone. At this point is were I made the decision to complain as not only number 1) was the food freezing, and uncooked- but number 2) he was very rude, and RACIST. I was extremely disheartened that my staff, and my clients were treated with such disrespect, and unkindness- as not only do we spend a lot of money there- but the food we received was simply inedible and was thrown away. I am writing this review to warn others NOT to order from this restaurant as the staff are rude, the food is disgusting and not cooked. Thanks for nothing BELLA ITALIAN - lets see if you keep these "hundreds of customers" now eh. kind regards a lost, loyal customer.
