Excellent restuarnt had my favourite meal. Always have as it's a great dish. Marco Polo. Clean, friendly and helpful staff, great menu, caters for all tastes. Highly recommended.
Been here a few times now, booking online is always easy, and they were happy to add extra people to our table when we rang them up. Service is alright and the food is good good range of vegetarian options Lovely views of the river. Usually quite quiet at lunchtime.
Reasonably priced with frequent offers and vouchers available. Bella Italia has great views on the riverside with a conservatory suspended above the river, perfect for a romantic dining experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, however the pasta dishes are quite bland and there is no wheelchair accessible entrance.
My Wife and I ate here in July 2012 The food was excellent, The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance,and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would love to go there again but we live in Australia. It was odd though eating Italian food and being served by waiters with broad Geordie accents.
A busy Saturday night without a booking and we were still treated like royalty. Fantastic food, efficient and polite service and great value for money.
Lunch time meal, first people in restaurant but main not served until an hour and a half after, then food not great! I had lunch time calzone which is on a special, should have guessed it wouldn't be great and only half full. Rest of food fairly bland. 2 stars for location only!
generally this is a nice place to go for a quick bite to eat for lunch. dinner services is good and really busy most the time so recommend to book in advance. food is really good and the portian sizes are enough for any person. only little downside was the amount of space in the resturant.
