We didn’t eat so can’t really comment on the food. However the Gins are amazing! Honestly. Fantastic. The fact we didn’t taste the food is the only reason why I can’t give this place 5 stars
Fabulous meal. I really enjoyed my crab & chillies spaghetti and the tiramisu was simply heaven in a dish. Great service. Not crowded, felt safe. Reasonably priced. Great venue for a thoroughly enjoyable evening with friends.
Called in for a beer only, nicely chilled but like most pubs nowadays, very limited bar seating, we had to sit in the dining area at a table set up for dining. Not very comfortable. Menu looked good, as did the general dining area so may come here for a meal one day.
A couple of friends and i meet up for a bevie and summat to ate once a month. I looked up the Bell and it looked real appealing so we arranged a meet. On arrival, we found that they did no meals. ‍
Last minute drop in for lunch. Food was a really good quality. Presented well. But better still fab service from the lovely Kim. Local and never been in before but we will go back. A little lunchtime gem. Thanks Kim. Lunch was splendid x
Pleasant staff, nice place and the good was mostly very good. One of us had the Sunday roast which was abysmal but the other 5 diners had lovely food. Chocolate orange tarts were fantastic too.
Went for lunch today and ate from the Prix Fixe menu. Good choice for lunch and a reasonable price. Everyone in our party were pleased with the portion size and quality of the food. My starter of field mushrooms on toast were great. Very freindly and helpful staff. Only one minor critiscism was the chips, I had several showing black discolouration and they certainly were not triple cooked as they were very light in colour and with poor texture. Would definately recommend and will return.
Excellent experience and service and the food was the best I have eaten in along time. Me and my wife where there as part of a birthday party of 14 people and everyone was very happy and impressed with everything. Thanks to everyone who looked after us all at the bell.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Nice atmoshphere, Suitable for children. I have only given three stars as there were a few things unavailable from the menu, which was dissapointing. On one of the mains we ordered, again they hadn't got everything but didn't offer an alternative. The food they did have was cooked to a high standard. Also the wait between courses was a little long but it was a busy period.
Very nice food, service was good and lovely staff
