So far my experience has been extremely positive. We asked Belda to help me choose a wedding dress that would compliment my fiances dress (no mean feat!!). From the onset I was reassured that this could easily be accommodated... and it has, EXTREMELY easily! I've been made to feel very welcome by Julie and her mom. Felt no pressure to buy a dress outside of my budget and have been shown nothing but patience and ongoing support in finding the right dress. The selection of dresses is very good and there are many different styles to chose from. I can't compare it to other bridal shops because I've not been elsewhere and I felt no desire to as I felt so happy with the service and choice from Belda. The two of you make a great team and for me your approach to sales and customer service is PERFECT! See you in May! Laura x

Lovely lady, wide range of dresses, but the shop lack of modern,designer dresses. Prices are reasonable.

My wife had her wedding dress and alterations arranged through Belda Bridal. Originally thought we had received a good deal when a discount on the dress was provided, however this discount was quickly recouped by doing unnecessary alterations that were not asked for to add additional cost to the alterations. Also on the day the wedding dress straps ripped after wearing the dress for roughly a couple of hours, not really what you want or expect after paying a decent amount for a special garment. We contacted Belda Bridal after the honeymoon in hopes they could provide some compensation for the disappointment, even just an apology perhaps... however they were most unhelpful. Making excuses, trying to pass the blame to anyone or anything to avoid all responsibility, even blaming the bride for not wearing the dress correctly.. not sure how they 'observed' this, didn't realise we invited them to the wedding! In short, service was generally not the best (fitting appointments felt like a hassle to arrange) customer service and care was very disappointing, and would definitely not recommend to anyone. Hope that things have since improved, but can only relate our experience honestly. (As you can see from the response from Belda below, quite adept at passing the blame. Belda may use a third party to do alterations, but we paid Belda for the alterations, so responsibility in our opinion lies with them, not quite as independent as it has been made to sound if Belda collects the money. As for the argument that I personally was not present at the store, it's true. The poor service I experienced and wrote about however was after Belda had received all of the money, and we weren't satisfied. I can only assume we were no longer of interest as the "deal was done". There are further points I could make but honestly I haven't the time or desire to make them all. I related our experience reluctantly but honestly, I appreciate bad reviews can affect business and I would never wish to make someone suffer in an already difficult world, however at the same time I wouldn't wish anyone else the same experience we have had on such a special occasion. Everyone is free to choose whether they use the services of Belda or an alternative. If all goes well with Belda and you are satisfied, fantastic. If you have a bad experience like us, I'm very sorry.)

I came to Belda last week and was very pleased with the service given. Julie listened, advised when needed and knew exactly what she had in stock, which is what I have not experienced in other boutiques. I did not find my dream dress at Belda, but would recommend it based on my visit. Also, the shop is well stocked with dresses from various designers.
