Story

Beetham Nurseries near Milnthorpe was established in 1984. The Plant, Garden Centre, Cafe, Food Shop and new Growing Nursery are family owned and run by Stephen and Lesley Abbit. The Growing Nursery is the newest addition to the family business and has been built to mark the 30th anniversary year.

Lovely little garden centre with a fantastic selection of plants. The tea rooms/coffee shop is great too. Loved the sharing table. Managed not to give in to temptation with the cakes but they looked delicious. If you're passing through Beetham definitely worth stopping in to break up the journey.

Nice garden centre with very pleasant cafe . Lovely spot on a warm day to sit outside. Food good but a bit pricey . Plenty of selection in plants also their own grown garden. Lovely gift shop. Looking forward to new extension opening.

A wide range of good quality plants in the growing nursery and garden centre. Helpful staff. Plants reasonably priced Also have a very good cafe. I don't really use the gift shop part.

Big enough to have most things, own on site nursery, friendly, helpful staff and a good cafe. We always enjoy visiting when we are passing. Very well presented, clean and tidy. Very large car park.

Lovely garden centre with excellent indoor and outdoor plants and accessories. I always find things here that i haven't seen elsewhere. The plants are always in fab condition and it's a good place to eat too!
