Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will.

Friday night and a hot summer-like evening in April. Quite busy and noisy but service was good and food too. Can't complain. One of our party told us the Bramingham pub had been renovated recently and has stopped serving carvey, only doing basic items of food now. So people only go there to drink now. Consequently, the Warden Beefeater has benefited greatly as the best (only) pub-restaurant in the area.

Had a lovely meal on Monday night with a friends..welcomed by Ali. Such a lovely person and seated and Served by darren. What a scream... Food was very great .cooked as l asked it to be and very tasty

Bit disappointed with our last visit. I ordered a steak medium rear and it was at best medium well, nearer to well done. It's supposed to be a steak restaurant surely getting that right is a basic requirement.

I've gone here for many years but today (31/1/18) was appalling, I went with a party of 10 to celebrate 3 birthdays. Got seated but not given any menus for at least 45 minutes, when the food came out 3meals were cold and had yo go back, and even though mine was hot my fried egg wasn't cooked properly and also had to go back. There was no toilet roll in the ladies toilet and yes we told them and even at the end of our visit still none had been put in. Then to top it off the birthday cake we had brought with us was given to the wrong table!! Staff did run to a local shop to replace it but its not quite the same. On a plus our waiter Darren was brilliant and tried his hardest to rectify any problems, even if they were out of his control. And after 1of our ladies constantly complaining we got the whole meal for free, but unfortunately non of us will be rushing back.
