Lot better after refit a couple years ago. Brighter, more modern. Friendly staff, car park on site, wheelchair accessible (mention when booking as there is a raised area, inaccessible for less mobile customers). Standard Beefeater menu, good chefs, well cooked food. Breakfasts are very good. Bar area and restaurant seating area.

Food was good quality, much better experience than previous visits, service prompt and courteous. Price reasonable. ***UPDATE JAN 2018 BELOW*** Not so good this time around which was disappointing - if anything it seems pricier. The 6oz steak was tiny and too rare for 'Medium'. This compounded with the fact it only came with fries and no accompanying peas, salad or anything is not good value for the best part of £30. If we go again next time, I'll stick with chicken, the steak meals are overpriced.

Really can't fault this place . Me and my family had some food here and the food tasted amazing my steak was cooked perfectly !!!! Our waiter was a lad called Simon he was a lovely chap and very polite and friendly !!! There was another waiter who was called Gary and he went above and beyond to please my 2 year old daughter giving her a balloon and even a special pudding for afters .. all in all these 2 men are a credit to this buisness couldnt have asked for better!!!!! I will be recommending to family and friends !!!!!

My experience of the Beefeater Griff House is that I love it so much that we have have had big bookings there I have had my birthday there and it was amazing! The food quality is very good.(steaks done just how you like it .)I would recommend this place to anyone who asks .

Popped in here just before Christmas. Had potato dipper starter which was surprising and very nice. Fish was a bit dry but vegetable pasta recommended. Free refills on soft drinks. Kids meals quite Good. Attentive waiting staff and welcoming seater. Good experience. Would go again but not have fish and chips!
