Two visits in one week!nnFirstly at the beginning of the week a Christmas Celebration Lunch with my elderly mother and her friends. Great menu choices, very well executed dishes and great value. Couple that with friendly, attentive service from a young, willing team and it's no wonder it was so busy. Great to see Emma too.nnSecondly a super dinner on the Friday evening with friends, with a couple more choices on the menu. Another super meal and slick, efficient service from the wonderful Rachel and her team. A great start to our Christmas celebrations, thank you.
This place is absolutely stunning. We live locally so Beechwood Hotel has never really been on our radar, but we found ourselves in North Walsham for a meeting and needed somewhere to work remotely beforehand. We called to check this was OK and the gentleman on reception was incredible. So friendly, so helpful, so accommodating. We've now spent the past few hours working from their bar area with our dog. The coffee is delicious. The art deco interiors are amazing and it's just such a lovely place to be. We will 100% be back to work remotely but also on a weekend for a coffee. I spotted the Sunday Lunch on their website and looks incredible and such good value at only £29.95 for three courses. Proper hidden gem. So pleased I took a chance and called up today to ask the question!
Spent a wonderful two nights here for my husbands birthday.nI had heard from friends how good it was and it didn’t disappoint.nOur room was lovely, the staff could not have been nicer and the meals excellent.nWe were in a garden room and able to enjoy tea and scones on our arrival.nEasily one of the nicest places we have stayed at!
We received a warm welcome, our luggage was taken to.our room whilst we checked in. The seven course tasting menu with wine flight was amazing and staff explained courses and told us about the wines.nThe room was lovely but the mattress was way too soft. Both of us woke up with backache. The bathroom.was luxurious but totally impracticable with no hose attachment in bath or with the shower. Moreover shower door rucked up bathmat so had to step on floor making it wet and slippery. May we also suggest that beer deliveries or whatever woke us up at 7ish am are arranged later. We heard other guests saying they woke up too.
Wonderful night away. Had the 7 course taster menu with a flight of wine. Can’t compliment the chef enough!nThis hotel is where Agatha Christie did a lot of her writing. Very art deco decor. Thank you
