Absolutely beautiful Carnewas Bedruthan Steps, we've walked that beach for over 25 years... until 2020 when the staircase was closed after a serious rockfall. It now looks like it could be several more years before the route down to the beach is repaired if ever. That's a great shame, as to experience these magnificent and majestic cliffs from the beach is truly spectacular. On the upside, the cafe in the NT car park is excellent, you can park for as little as an hour to catch the views from the top and the car park to clifftop route is reasonable accessible.
Worth going out your way to visit. Stunning views from the tops of the cliffs and you can walk along the South West Coastal path. Sadly the steps down to the beach are closed at the minute because of cliff erosion, so you will have to find a way down further along the coast if you wish to get down. National Trust members can park free at this location but pay and display is reasonably priced.
Note, there is no access to the steps or beach due to a rock fall. However, the views are absolutely stunning. We came early evening so the tea room and shop were closed. Parking easy and free for National Trust members. The paths along the cliff tops were easy and reasonably flat underfoot. Absolutely stunning! It was a rainy and blustery day, but the views were still unbelievable. The trails were quite muddy, which was to be expected with all of the rain. The little cafe was very cozy, too, with extremely friendly staff. A must-do!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
Great location. Big car park. Best fruit scone in a long time. Easy walk accessible to all or longer walks available. Amazing views. We stopped here for lunch and had tea and cake from the cafe. The cake was really good and fresh. The view was amazing, it was great eating lunch with the view of the ocean. Great spot for a coffee, cuppa, cake or an ice cream with stunning views of the sea. Unfortunately the steps down to the beach are closed due to fallen rocks and unsafe but the fresh air and sea breeze is priceless. Free parking for National Trust members

Impressive coast. We walked coastal path, and whole coast is beautiful. On a sunny day water looks so nice.
