We had a table booked on Saturday for 8pm. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff and shown to our table.nnWe had a different waitress serving us and she was equally as friendly.nnWe didn’t have to wait long for our drinks order to be taken, shortly followed by our food order.nnMy husband and I both had the Dirty burger. This did not disappoint! It was actually the best burger both of us have ever had! So tasty and just the right amount.nnFor dessert I had the lemon tart with raspberry sorbet and it was delicious, a flavour bomb!nnWe tried the beer and some cocktails, all great!nnThe atmosphere and our evening on a whole was wonderful, we really enjoyed it.nnJust one negative - they had ran out of a few things, would have been more helpful to be told before we ordered to save time and disappointment.nnWe will be back!
Visiting for the day and came here on recommendation. Loads of seating options inside, food was brilliant, service fantastic too - very happy and helpful staff with a nice attitude. Would definitely come back! Some really good veggie options too BTW!
Having been to other BEAR locations it was a welcome addition to Ashbourne and having now been several times it has lived up to expectations. It's a good place for brunch, coffee and cake and when open in the evening for cocktails or an evening supper. At night there is a happy hour cocktail offer. Evening meals include pizzas, burgers, dirty fries and mac and cheese. Prices around what you'd expect. £13 for a halloumi burger and fries.nWell thought out decor, good atmosphere and close to car parks. Missed out a couple of times when we hadn't booked so reservations recommended ... you will have to leave card details and will be charged for a no show.
Good coffees. Food is good but a bit fancy and form over function, thus pricy. Wait time was a bit too long.
Had brunch, poached eggs. Really nicely done. Atmosphere is great and the feel of the place is spot on like it is at the other branches of Bear that I’ve visited. Staff are always really welcoming and go out of their way to make sure your experience is as it should be. Food is high quality, plenty of choice!
