Really nice breakfast spot with a great selection on the menu. The decor and ambiance is also really nice and works perfectly.nnThe dishes are nicely presented and the drinks and coffee options are also good. I had the eggs benedict but would have preferred the eggs to be slightly more cooked as the whites were a little runny but still edible poached eggs aren't the easiest and I think a tad more bacon too as it was quite slim.nnOthers in my group had a full English and the bacon and chicken pancakes which they enjoyed. We also tried the special brew of coffees which was a nice experience.nnOverall really good place and would consider revisiting if in the area.
Lovely coffee house. Coffee was flavoursome & well presented.nWe didn’t eat there, but the food looked lovely.nOrder from the bar - popular place, I imagine it’s worth booking if you want to sit for a meal.nBranded tshirts & coffee for sale.nWorth a visit.
Didn't plan to visit but came across on our walk around Ashbourne town centre looking for somewhere for a late lunch. There is a good kids menu and I liked the fact that kids brunch was served until 4pm. My daughter wanted something simple and enjoyed the kids toast. I opted for the halloumi burger which was delicious and my son, who is starting to want to be more adventurous in his eating, went for the Lebanese halloumi flatbread and not a crumb was left. Our friends also enjoyed their meals and we were too full for dessert.
Stopped on a long drive home on a Friday tea time. Costa had closed but the friendly staff at BEAR over the road were happy to serve me with just a brew. Contemporary atmosphere and funky music. Cheered me up and no mistake.
Stopped in and had a good coffee here while travelling south. The staff were really friendly. There’s plenty of tables and space available. The cafe also has a wheelchair accessible toilet - and the staff have a ramp to access the building for a wheelchair as otherwise there’s a couple of small steps up into the cafe.
