We stayed overnight to celebrate my birthday. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spotless. The dinner was excellent with plenty of choice. Gillian was very friendly and professional. We enjoyed the Continental breakfast. Thank you Ben for arranging our stay. We will certainly be back for dinner and a stay and recommend to our friends.
We have just spent our belated honeymoon there and it was wonderful. We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was so unexpected and a lovely gesture. The staff couldn't have been any nicer and helpful. We only ate in the restaurant a couple of times but the food was very nice. We'll definitely be going there. Thoroughly recommend to anyone heading up to Scotland.
Waiters were friendly but so very very slow. Menu was OK but Festive menu had to be prebooked. We were not made aware of that when we booked so disappointed we had to book off a fairly poor selection. However, food we did have was good. Honeycomb cheesecake best Ive ever tasted.Food: 3/5
The staff is very kind and helpful. Food was really good especially the Highlander burger and ginger and chili chicken. Place inside is tidy with nice atmosphere. I'll recommend for my friends. Thank you
The night porter is fantastic! If you hold onto her you're all good! Didn't eat here at night however they DO NOT do a cooked breakfast at the moment. The continental breakfast was nice though can't complain at meat and cheese. Room was clean but staff in the morning were inattentive. Probably wouldn't return it was booked out of necessity.
A lovely venue set in a converted farmhouse, offering very tasty fare utilising fine local ingredients. Might not be exactly classifiable as cheap, but the food is very good. The restaurant area is tastefully furnished, and the bar area is especially welcoming, bright, and rustic. Ideal for a quick bite to eat, a fuller meal, an afternoon coffee and cake!, or just a drink.
Can't complain about the food, it was decent however it was expensive. My only complaints were when I asked for the bill, we waited over 15 minutes and still didn't get it. I went through to the bar and there was no-one there at all. I asked another waitress who quickly brought it to me. The other complaint was I ordered a pint of coke and it had been watered down with soda water and that is all I could taste
Just returned from an overnight stay. Staff were amazing, particularly Bernadette when we arrived. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast both were great. Would definitely recommend to anyone
This morning we attended Breakfast with Santa at the Beancross Farm, 5 stars absolutely amazing! The set up and the way everything was ran was brilliant could not fault a thing, and Candy Cane Lane WOW absolutely magical the kids were mesmerised by it all, then our visit to the big man himself was amazing, a big shout out to all staff that helped make Breakfast with Santa a successful event will definitely 100% be back for it next year
Been to the Beancross 3 times over the past week, 21st Birthday dinner, Breakfast with Santa and our sons 10th Birthday party. Each and every time the staff go above and beyond for us and our family and leave no stone unturned, Very attentive to detail and always making sure everything is perfect. Food was amazing as always and Santa was on top form. Thanks again Beancross Farm with a special mention to Ben, Chloe, Kate and all the team behind use excellent Team... Thank You so much
