Just been standing in their queue for about 15 minutes....trying to BUY paracetamol and cold/flu remedy....had items in my hand...credit card at the ready.....long queue going out of the door....half way through my wait time the staff member asked who was here for vacinations...half of the queue stepped forwards...the staff member then had to check their names and tick them off the list...that staff member then disappeared in the back to deal with another customer waiting for a prescription....so no one serving paying customers at the front desk...that staff member returned from the back office...still didn't serve anyone waiting in the queue to actually buy stuff....people stood in all sorts of places...trying to stay out of the way...waiting for prescriptions...more people arriving for vacinations....STILL there was no one to take my money for the two small items I wanted to buy....stood and waited for a bit longer.....gave up the will to live...put my items back on the shelf...left the store....nnTotally disorganised! There were only about 8 people in the queue for vacinations.....there were at least 3 staff members coming and going....but no one to serve at the front desk....nnTotal waste of my time...it would appear they only want to deal with booked in vacinations clients...and customers over the age of 70 who are picking up prescriptions.nnLived in Beaminster for over 12 years......so not quite a 'local'....but surely Beaminster can do better than this. No need for flashy illuminated screens in the pharmacy windows...we just need a pharmacy that has staff that can serve customers.

Very nice little pharmacy on the main road. No parking but some availability on the road itself. They have a fair selection of products but it's not a big shop so be aware. Staff here are very friendly and helpful.
Had my flu booster here as it was the earliest appt I could get near me. My booster in Weymouth was cancelled last Friday with no notification. So went here. Easy to park in square. Despite being quite early for appt, got in with no waiting. Pharmacist really friendly and got the job done quickly and efficiently. InForgot to thank him so this is me thanking him! :
