Got to be the best "Garden centre" in the country. As well as having so much choice in plants flowers and everything for the garden, it has so, so much more. We had lunch in the restaurant and I also bought some vinyl record Lp's from "Uptown Records" which is situated within the centre. There is something for everyone. You can even get clothes, toys and books here. It's a great place!
A wonderful experience for all of my family, not only the grandchildren. The staff were so nice, obviously of great experience and doing even more than expected. My mother can't wait for next year. what a great start to the holiday, thank you.
Amazing! What a huge place! Unexpected surprise. Great Xmas/Halloween areas, great cafe with a great breakfast, farm shop, huge let area where you can see birds, rabbits, hamsters, fish, reptiles, spiders and so much more! Incredible. We will be back.
Beautiful place, especially at Christmas time, it has everything and more you could imagine at a garden centre. Definitely recommend!
Been here several times. To visit the owl Centre - amazing, for general gardening bits - fantastic & most recently to take my 1 & nearly 3 year old to see Santa. I was really impressed. Perfect for their ages & all the staff involved were great with my two quite shy kids. Not too overwhelming as previous ones have been.
Came for quick look around. Bay tree has had a change round since we last visited. All Christmas decs and accessories were out on display. Lovely gift ideas to be had. Little to be had in the Edinburgh Wool Mill on site and Joules have left the building. No little cafe anymore so all have to go to the restaurant for refreshments. The restaurant was clean and busy. Queuing was mainly for the Sunday roast at £12.99.We did feel the restaurant to be quite expensive but they have a captive audience. We had two teas, a Bakewell slice and a scone for £9.09. A child's gingerbread man was £3.29 so we were glad the grandkids weren't with us.
Gosh, what a place, almost buy everything under the sun, if you have deep pockets. The vintage and collectibles Centre was interesting, with many bargains for outside. The coffee Shop served very nice scones and a mixed bag in the restaurant. Steak & kidney pie got good reports as did the fish and chips but the quiche came with chips, not salad as advertised, and was bland, but all in all an interesting and enjoyable day out. Will visit the Owl and Bird of Prey centre next time.
Lovely big garden centre selling just about everything you could want. Nice big cafe too and lively cup of tea.
Absolutely amazing experience, first time coming here and will definitely visit again! I have to say one of the best Grotto's i've been to, kids were enamoured by the place, and Father Christmas was lovely. The actual garden centre is vast with outlets and smaller shopping units contained within, I found something interesting around every corner. Top job Baytree, see you again soon
We visited just before Christmas as we have previously had lovely shopping trips there. We haven't been since before Covid, and I'm sure that most of the changes are probably due to that, but there was far less to see. We didn't visit the Wonderland section, which needed tickets, but even so, we expected more. Prices aren't unreasonable, but just a couple of miles away, the Springfield Garden Centre has a smaller area but seems to offer a better selection of Christmas presents and decorations.
