Visited Baysgarth House within the park. The house was only partially open to visitors but was interesting all the same. The Georgian room was fascinating. The park itself is beautifully kept and is a venue for many public events throughout the year. We were delighted to find a beautiful garden dedicated to Chad Varah founder of the Samaritans and born in the town. It also encourages you to sit in quiet contemplation.
Beautiful, peaceful haven of pure happiness. I always leave this park feeling blessed by nature. My only wish is that it had a cafe and some sort of water feature, be it fountains or splash zone. To hear the tranquil sound of birdsong and water, would be superb. My dog gets so excited when he comes here and other dog owners are mostly friendly and approachable.
Great asset to Barton Town, beautiful park with winding pathways throughout and large grassed areas for picnics and play! I take my dog walking here three or four times a week and he loves it!
Great place for a leisurely stroll can imagine having a great picnic here. Very dog friendly. Conveniences in the park and the leisure centre.
Beautiful park, amazing looking house, lovely ice cream. First class performance by "A Certain Demographic" of "Paradise Lost" Milton's classic reimagined by Ian Sharp music by Tim Sutton, fabulous cast, special mention Adam played by Chris Walshaw and Beverley Nel, a artistic tree.
Great place to stroll. Lots of open space, winding paths. This time year- spring amazing with daffs
Beautiful park. Loved the huge trees and sense of spaciousness everywhere.
Lovely big park. New additions include outdoor gym, water drinking fountain and football goals. Leisure centre and library also within the park grounds. Nice for a stroll, a kick about or a dog walk. Plenty of free parking.
Lovely parkland for walks and picnics and a nice old house to look round and take photos of.
Great park to walk around with the dog or just for a walk all pathed and you could even follow a workout routine on the route round
