Delicious authentic Indian food. There are many options on the menu. Most curry dishes can be made with chicken, lamb, or prawns. Friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our dinner there and will be back. Highly recommended Vegetarian options: They have veggie options
For me the food was very good. The place was very cool my wife had to keep her coat on for quite a while. Later I spoke to the manager and he said he would do something about it. Service was good and waiter attentive. Will definitely go back.Food: 5/5
We were here last night for dinner with friends and had a beautiful meal and a few drinks. The staff are very pleasant and the atmosphere was really relaxed. It was quite quiet when we arrived 7pm but it got a bit busier as the night went on. We will definitely be backFood: 5/5
My partner and I love this restaurant and we placed an order for delivery tonight around 8:30pm. I phoned the restaurant around 10pm after they were listed as closed online as our order hadn’t arrived yet. The person on the phone told me there was an error with their delivery software and they unfortunately had missed our order, which is no ones fault. The man I spoke with on the phone was very apologetic and said they could make our order and have it delivered in 25 minutes, which I agreed to. The food arrived almost exactly 25 minutes later and was delicious! I really appreciate the staff making the food and coming to deliver it after the closing time instead of just offering a refund. Really great service, really great food!
Ordered from the take away menu, booked a pickup time. It was ready on time and I must say the portion size is on the large side. This has to be the best Indian food I have ever had, the chicken was cooked to perfection. I fully recommend the Bayleaf.
Great meal, the service was really good and the food was hot, fresh and very tasty. Great value for money. Next time I'm in Scotland I would definitely make the effort to come here again. This is a restaurant that others should have as their benchmark. Congratulations on a awesome job!
Went in to order food. Even though I spoke to the cashier in person she didn't recite the order back and got it wrong. The server didn't check the order prior to going out. Wouldn't have mattered as they missed a meal off the order anyway. Got home realised ut was short, but to add to our misery the food was pretty rank and the salad was rotten. Not rotten as in tasted rubbish. But actually rotten. Blackened lettuce and mouldy tomatoes. We have waited 2 weeks for the call back to raise our concerns we asked for. But ........ no contact. Very disappointing service and meal for the costs. Won't be back.
Really great night. Meal for a party of 26 from Livingston Ramblers. We had a set menu with option to choose veggi or non curry from the main menu. Poppadoms and chutney, onion pakora, chicken pakora, chicken tikka, shish kebab followed by main with rice and nan then ice cream. Mains were pre-ordered Great service with all food served quickly and hot. We were not hurried. Very relaxed. Smashing atmosphere. We had half the restaurant to ourselves. Thanks staff at Bay Leaf.
