This is the second time I've used this business. Delivery was on time and driver was friendly, the chicken balti was stodgy and the keema nan only had 5% meat in it. Sorry to say I ended up throwing half away. This is the first balti I've ever thrown in the bin.
Family of 3, the worst curry we’ve ever had. Had a lamb tikka madras. It was a container of red coloured water that shloshed around like a bathtub, had to go deep sea diving to find my meat. Thought I’d add the keema rice to absorb it, big mistake, it was crunchy hard and tasteless. As for the keema naan, you was lucky if you had one chunk of keema in it. Could have made a better curry myself.
Used to be best curry house in redditch but order today was vile ordered tikka masala and the cream was off in both smelt and tasted like sick. They of course argued it wasn't but you could smell the bad cream and taste it, it was vile. They did to their credit send the whole meal out again with different curries but these wasn't really any better. Such a shame as used to be so good won't be going back.
2nd time ordering. 2nd time disappointed. Won't be a 3rd one. I have peshwari naan. There was no flavour. No coconut or raisins/sultanas. Bottom of it felt hard. Gutted naan is the best bit. My lemon rice was hard. Won't be ordering again.
It's replaced the place we went to for 15 years over in Warwick, their quality went down and the drive was a pain when it was just take out anyway. Here the food is consistently good, it's a short walk for us with good parking if needed the food is also fresh and quick. We must have been 10-15 times by now, pretty much always ordering tikka and kurma mains with Peshawary or keema nahns which are well filled never burnt and really tasty. If your in the area it's a great place to grab some good food from.
What we have been waiting for since lockdown, other curry houses just don’t cut it. Normally use Batchley Spice through Just Eat and have been for around 4 years now. Just finished our order and there’s nothing to match the quality, taste or spice in Redditch. Called them this time 8 Mercot Close and I was always stuck between a Madras and Vindaloo, one to hot other need a bit more so asked for a hotter chicken tikka madras just under Vindaloo strength. People that know there portions they are tough to finish, well I have just polished it right off. The mrs don’t like nothing but korma, first time she’s had a Bhuna and the same. Top top top top food!!!!!
Curry spilled out of the bag, when I phoned them they told me that "it's impossible to happen", which clearly it's not. The situation wasn't resolved, I got made to think that I was lying. We've been loyal customers for years, we will never be ordering from them again, which is a shame.
Me an the missus wanted a movie night an a takeaway so we ordered from batchley spice........ The Mrs ordered a mild prawn balti which come hot as f. The paratha I ordered was meant to be a stuffed one that came an it basically was just thick doe.there was nothing stuffed in it. All in all not happy wiv the service I was offered replacements but as I had complained thought it would be safer if I just didnt
We had a meal delivered last night so amazing gorgeous piping hot xxx thank you guys always make my fussy vegetarian husband an amazing pea and potatoe Balti which he loves x
I have used , Batchley spice for a couple of years now after trying many, many other takeaways in Redditch - and now I wouldn't go anywhere else. The lads there are always polite, cheerful and friendly and the food is to die for. I have to have one at least once a week to satisfy my craving for it.Lol It is always fresh and hot when delivered and the chef is happy to cater for individual tastes. If you want the best in Redditch then treat yourself and get your next Indian takeaway from here Mmmmmmmmmm
